1) Download Photo Party Upload Kiosk on your iPad or Windows Device.

 2) Download the Photo Party Upload HELPER on your Windows PC or Mac

3) Disable firewalls on your computer and on your wireless network.

GETTING STARTED:

1) Create your event in Event Manager at http://login.photopartyupload.com (login top right)

2) Double click the Photo Party Upload Helper software on your computer. Sign into Helper on the computer, by right clicking the Helper and selecting "Sign In." 

3) Right click on the Helper icon in your taskbar, select "Events," and click the event you created in Event Manager. Then right click on the Helper icon, select "Choose watched folder," and select the folder that stores your finished photos from your camera or photo booth software.

Note: Any changes made at the Event Manager website to your event need to be refreshed in Photo Party Upload. Right click the Helper icon in the taskbar, select "Events," and then click "Refresh."

4) Open the settings screen in Photo Party Upload App on your Windows Device or iPad: *click the Status Indicator in the bottom right corner>>> Login>>> autodetect/search >>> Save

*To open the settings screen on an iPad hold your finger over the Status Indicator for 3 seconds. To open the settings screen on a Windows Device double click the Status Indicator or click "S" on the keyboard.

Detailed Setup Directions:

 

 

Step 1: Launch the HELPER program on the Photo Booth or Laptop. Then, from the icon in the system tray next to the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop, right click and Sign In using your account credentials. Then right click it again and select your newly created event. (Screen Shot Graphic Attached) 
 

(You will need to click on "Refresh" when you make edits to your Event Settings)


 

 

 

Step 2: Choose a TRANSFER FOLDER with the images you want to transfer to the iPad in the Helpers' "Configure" screen (Screen Shot Graphic Attached).

Step 3: Launch the iPad application and tap & hold the bottom right status indicator icon until a pop-up screen appears. It will attempt to connect with the HELPER running on your Photo Booth or Laptop.


The Photo Booth or Laptop and the iPad MUST be connected to the SAME Wi-Fi wireless network in order to sync.

Step 4
: Once the iPad finds the HELPER, a pop-up will appear that will allow you to "Use It" (The discovered Helper) or enter into "Settings". 
-If only using 1 Photo Booth, you can click on "Use It"
-If using more than 1 HELPER (on a second Photo Booth or Laptop) click "Settings" and choose the specific Helper on the Photo Booth or Laptop you would like to connect to by taping on the "+Plus" icon - Then click "Save".
 

You should now see the photos that are in the Watch/Transfer Folder on the PC, on the iPad screen in the Photo Party Upload App. Any new photos that go into that folder will also transfer over. 

When selecting a photo on the iPad and uploading to Facebook, Email or Twitter, the settings in your recently created "Event" will be used. To change these settings, either edit your event, or click on "Create New Event" in your profile. Then make sure to "Refresh" you events and select that event in the Helper, like in Step 5.
